Bobby Blake and Dolly

Designed for Hubley by Grace Gebbie Drayton (1877-1936), who also designed the Campbell Kids for the Campbell Soup Company. Her previous name (by first marriage) was Grace Gebbie Wiederseim, the signature she signed on all the Cupie Doll postcards she invented around 1910. These doorstops are signed, in the casting, with her distinctive signature   (large script G's with long tails) on the back of each base.

A small house-shaped logo appears on the front just under the golf bag. This piece also has engraving on the front of the base, indicating it was used as a golf trophy in 1965.
